Citiflora began in 1996 in front of Miriam College in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. The flower shop, which was founded by Larry Darroca, was first established under the name Flowers & Vines. But a few years later, the owner had to close the shop in order to train abroad as a floral designer, eventually a supervisor, under a European company. Larry trained for several years with the goal to achieve the highest standards in flower arranging. A few years later, he came back to the Philippines to work in one of the prestigious companies in Makati City. He pursued his passion and worked once again as a floral designer; and later on, he also became an event stylist and a visual stylist for the same company. To finally demonstrate the fruits of his labor and training, he reestablished a flower shop in 2008 in Project 6, Quezon City and named it Citiflora. He shared his talent in flower arranging to young aspiring florists and worked to develop his signature style.
